Join us at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital where we have been providing world-class care to our community for over 100 years. Here, we strive for patient-centered care and comfort with our collaborative team of healthcare professionals. We are committed to serving the community and treating our patients as family.
Akron General's 3100 Unit is a 16-bed cardiac telemetry and med/surg unit. This fast-paced unit cares for patients who require extensive ADL assistance, high-risk fall patients and patients with pneumonia, FTT, weakness, confusion, sepsis, PEG care, central lines, multiple antibiotic therapies, blood transfusions, IV push/cardiac drip titration medications and tracheostomies. Many of these patients are transfers out of the MICU/SICU and, occasionally, neuro overflow patients. This unit has a strong focus on IV push, limited cardiac drips and chest pain testing/monitoring.
As an RN on the team, you will utilize your nursing skills to enhance the Cleveland Clinic experience and the lives of patients and their families. You will gain hands-on experience in complex medical concerns and technologies, providing an unmatched advantage within the healthcare industry. By taking this opportunity, you will join an exceptional team with strong leadership that fosters education, support and teamwork.
