Make an impact across Logan Health’s ambulatory care network.

Logan Health is excited to introduce a new Ambulatory Clinical Educator opportunity for an experienced RN who loves teaching, building relationships, and helping teams succeed.

In this role, you’ll work alongside clinic leaders and clinical teams across our ambulatory network to strengthen onboarding, build clinical competency, support best practices, and create a more consistent experience for our teams.

You’ll be a trusted clinical resource and partner, helping identify opportunities, solve problems, and turn education into meaningful improvements in practice.

Our Mission: Quality, compassionate care for all.

Our Vision: Reimagine health care through connection, service and innovation.

Our Core Values: Be Kind | Trust and Be Trusted | Work Together | Strive for Excellence.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and support consistent clinical onboarding and orientation across ambulatory clinics.

  • Assess learning and competency needs and develop engaging education and training.

  • Support clinical staff in building and maintaining skills and competency.

  • Partner with clinic leaders and frontline teams to promote evidence-based practice and clinical excellence.

  • Support quality, safety, DNV, DEA, and other organizational initiatives.

  • Help strengthen preceptor and competency programs.

  • Evaluate education and competency outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Serve as a clinical resource and catalyst for positive change across the ambulatory setting.

This role is all about relationships.

You’ll work with a variety of clinic teams, leaders, providers, and interdisciplinary partners throughout the region. Your ability to listen, build trust, and develop collaborative relationships will be key to your success.

No two days will look exactly the same. You may be supporting a clinic’s onboarding process one day, facilitating skills validation the next, and partnering with leaders on a larger clinical education initiative after that.

This position includes travel to Logan Health ambulatory clinics, with the majority expected to be within the Flathead Valley.

What you’ll bring

Required:

  • Current Montana RN license or multistate compact RN license with authorization to practice in Montana.

  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and serve as a catalyst for change.

  • RQI Provider (BLS) certification within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever occurs first.

Preferred:

  • BSN.

  • Five or more years of clinical nursing experience.

  • Three or more years of teaching and/or leadership experience.

  • Certification in a related specialty or Nursing Professional Development.

  • Ambulatory or clinic-based nursing experience.

Why this opportunity?

This is more than an educator role in one department. You’ll have the opportunity to influence how clinical teams learn, grow, and deliver care across Logan Health’s ambulatory network.

If you’re an RN who brings clinical expertise, curiosity, and a passion for helping people succeed, we’d love to meet you.

Bring your experience. Bring your ideas. Help us build something better—together.
