Position Details

• Job Title: Talent Acquisition Advisor

• Location: Wichita, KS

• Pay Rate: $64.64 per hour

• Schedule: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office

• Employment Opportunity: Contract position with the potential to convert to permanent employment for the right candidate

What You'll Do

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor , you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle while serving as a trusted talent partner to hiring teams. A major focus of this position will be proactively sourcing candidates for challenging Engineering positions and supporting technician hiring initiatives across the United States.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies for critical and hard-to-fill positions.

• Manage the complete recruitment cycle, including needs assessment, job posting, sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.

• Proactively identify and engage specialized talent rather than relying solely on inbound applicants.

• Use LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms to build pipelines for challenging Engineering and Defense positions.

• Work with Boostpoint to support technician hiring events throughout the United States.

• Design and execute candidate-generation strategies that create strong, sustainable talent pipelines.

• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop effective recruitment solutions.

• Conduct market research and advise hiring leaders on talent-market trends, recruiting practices, and candidate availability .

• Leverage technology, ATS platforms, and digital recruiting tools to improve sourcing effectiveness and the candidate experience.

• Participate in strategic talent acquisition initiatives, including employer branding and process improvement .

• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience while representing the organization's employer brand professionally.

• Analyze recruiting performance metrics and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and results.

• Manage multiple openings and recruiting projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Required Qualifications

We're looking for an experienced recruiter who brings:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience

• Experience recruiting for complex and/or high-volume positions

• Strong hands-on sourcing experience , including proactive candidate outreach

• Excellent knowledge of sourcing techniques and digital recruiting tools, including ATS platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities within a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of recruitment best practices and current talent-market trends

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

• Ability to develop trusted relationships with hiring managers and business partners

• Strong client-focused and results-oriented mindset

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have:

• Engineering recruiting experience

• Recruiting experience within the aerospace and/or manufacturing industry

• Experience recruiting in a unionized environment

• Experience sourcing difficult-to-fill Engineering or technical positions

• Experience supporting large-scale recruiting initiatives or hiring events

• Familiarity with SuccessFactors

• Experience using Boostpoint or similar recruiting technology

Note: Director-level recruiting experience is not required for this opportunity.
