Data Analyst – MDM Reporting & Compliance

Job Title: Data Reporting Analyst – SQL, Excel & Power BI Position Overview

This role offers an opportunity to work across enterprise data reporting, inventory management, and compliance operations. The position focuses on maintaining accurate device, user, and mobile-number inventory records while ensuring data consistency across multiple enterprise platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL, Advanced Microsoft Excel, and Power BI skills, along with experience in data reconciliation, validation, operational reporting, and KPI/SLA dashboard development.

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate device, user, and mobile-number inventory records.

• Reconcile data across Intune, carrier systems, asset records, and Smarsh.

• Develop operational dashboards, compliance reports, and inventory reports.

• Identify data mismatches, missing records, and potential capture gaps.

• Support authorized audit, legal hold, search, and export workflows.

• Prepare KPI/SLA reports and management dashboards.

• Document reporting procedures and participate in incumbent knowledge transfer (KT).

Required Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL skills.

• Experience with Power BI or equivalent enterprise reporting tools.

• Strong understanding of data reconciliation, validation, and quality analysis.

• Experience in inventory and operational reporting.

• Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

• Experience with KPI/SLA reporting and exception analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Intune device inventory reporting.

• Exposure to Smarsh reporting and communication capture reconciliation.

• Knowledge of mobile carrier systems and telephone-number inventory.

• Experience with device-user-mobile-number mapping.

• Exposure to compliance and audit reporting.

• Knowledge of Power Query and Microsoft Graph.

• Financial services compliance exposure.

• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification.

• Familiarity with Smarsh reporting and archiving concepts.
