Entry-Level Construction & Service Technician (Agawam) Located in Agawam, MA Compensation: Starting at $20.00/hour Employment type: full-time, year-round Experience level: entry level Learn a specialized trade. Build a career. We're a small, established construction and service company specializing in petroleum systems installation, maintenance, and construction. We're looking for a dependable person who enjoys hands-on work, has mechanical aptitude, and wants to develop practical skills. No extensive construction experience is necessary. We're willing to train the right person who brings a good work ethic, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. What you'll do - Assist with installation, maintenance, and construction of petroleum systems. - Work with tools, mechanical equipment, and experienced technicians. - Learn safe work practices and develop specialized technical skills. - Travel to job sites, primarily throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. - Take on greater responsibility as your skills and experience grow. - What we're looking for - Dependability, honesty, and a strong work ethic. - Mechanical aptitude or an interest in learning how equipment and systems work. - Some familiarity with hand tools or mechanical work is helpful, but we're willing to train. - Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting. - Willingness to learn, follow safety procedures, and work toward increasing independence. - Experience in construction, automotive repair, equipment maintenance, manufacturing, or other hands-on work is welcome.
