Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Product Analyst to support large-scale product and technology initiatives within a highly regulated environment. The Senior Technical Product Analyst serves as a collaborative, self-directed member of an Agile Scrum team, responsible for driving complex analysis efforts involving data, integrations, enterprise applications, and product delivery. This role connects business needs and technical requirements to clear, executable solutions through strong analytical thinking, data-driven decision making, and effective collaboration across teams.

The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners, developers, architects, quality engineers, and partner teams to define requirements, create user stories, analyze data, identify dependencies, and support delivery. Success in this role requires strong SQL and analytical skills, experience working with integrated systems, and the ability to independently develop recommendations and implementation approaches within a complex, rapidly evolving environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
  • Create and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and backlog items
  • Partner with Product Owners to translate business needs into actionable development work
  • Perform data analysis using SQL and other query tools
  • Support data mapping, system integrations, and cross-platform initiatives
  • Identify dependencies, risks, and gaps across systems and teams
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, architects, and stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
  • Investigate production issues, data discrepancies, and integration challenges
  • Help define implementation approaches and recommend solutions for complex business and technical problems
  • Build relationships across multiple teams to support delivery and alignment

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Writing and refining user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Managing and grooming backlog items in Jira
  • Querying and analyzing data using SQL
  • Collaborating with development teams on technical solutions
  • Mapping data flows between applications and platforms
  • Identifying integration requirements and dependencies
  • Meeting with stakeholders and partner teams to gather requirements
  • Supporting testing, validation, and implementation activities

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or related experience
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum delivery teams
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to write, modify, and troubleshoot queries
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications, system integrations, APIs, or complex data environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using Jira or similar backlog management tools
  • Ability to work independently and drive work forward with minimal oversight
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, banking, financial services, or another highly regulated industry
  • Experience supporting contact center platforms or customer service applications
  • Experience with cloud-enabled platforms and enterprise application ecosystems
  • Experience with data mapping, data migration, or integration projects
  • Understanding of APIs, system interfaces, and cross-platform data flows
  • Exposure to tools such as GCP, Informatica, SnapLogic, or similar integration technologies
