Description

We are looking for an organized Office Manager to support daily administrative operations in New York City This contract opportunity with the potential to become ongoing is ideal for someone who can keep the office running smoothly while balancing front-desk support, supply coordination, and accounts payable tasks. The right candidate will bring strong attention to detail, a service-oriented approach, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a well-organized office environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day office activities to ensure an efficient, well-organized workplace environment.

  • Welcome visitors, answer incoming calls, and provide courteous front-desk support for staff and guests.

  • Monitor inventory levels for office materials and place orders to keep essential supplies available.

  • Maintain organized records related to purchasing, invoices, and general administrative documentation.

  • Process accounts payable activities accurately, including reviewing invoices and supporting timely payment workflows.

  • Assist with routine administrative duties such as filing, scheduling, and handling general office correspondence.

  • Support office procedures that improve organization, responsiveness, and overall operational efficiency.

Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in office management, administrative support, or a related role.

  • Hands-on experience managing office supply inventory and coordinating purchasing activities.

  • Working knowledge of accounts payable processes and invoice handling.

  • Ability to perform receptionist and front-desk responsibilities with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in a business setting.
