Department: Human Sciences Part Time, Non-Tenure Track Open until filled: Yes Requisition number: 202600096F Usual duties: The Department of Human Sciences at Sam Houston State University invites applications for a qualified instructor in theACEND-accredited undergraduate B.S. Food Science and Nutrition program. Duties will include teaching one or more undergraduate lecture and/or lecture/lab courses for the Fall 2026 semester. Lecturer-Pool faculty are term positions hired to teach one to four courses per semester. Lecturer-Pool faculty hiring is based on student demand, and on a semester-by-semester basis. Degree Requirements: Applicants must have a Masters degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Dietetics, or a closely related field of study. A minimum of 18 graduate semester hours within the discipline are required. Experience Requirements: Applicants who are Registered Dietitians (R.D.) accredited by the Commission of Dietetic Registration are preferred. Other Requirements for the Position : Preferred qualifications include experience in dietetic practice and teaching at the college level.
