Position Summary Prints lettering and designs with screen printing device on formed or machined configuration on plastic and metal materials. Set up screen fixture to repeat during a production run. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomets principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics. Principle Responsibilities - Operate basic screen print table - Cleans screen with solvent at end of run and when using different colors. - Examines printed object for defects. - Teaches and instructs junior members of department on best practices - Capable of setting up and screen printing both metal and plastic product (in the flat or bent form) - Understands how screen print defects are created in the process and how to turn them on/off ; for example, stray ink, faded image, bold image - Examines printed object for defects. - All other duties assigned. Qualification Requirements Credentials/Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent - 1-2 years as a screen printer I or equivalent manufacturing screening experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Ability to work independently and exercise judgment - Strong communication skills, fluent in English - Basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication) - Ability to identify cosmetic defects #GEN1 Other Requirements Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
