Full job description

The Role

This role combines hands-on warehouse work with computer tasks, client communication, and furniture service support. You might start the morning staging product for a crew, update inventory in our system, help a client with a question, and then organize parts or assist with a service request. If you enjoy variety, staying active, and keeping details organized, you’ll fit right in.

T&M Services is a commercial furniture installation and logistics partner serving the Midwest. Our Omaha warehouse supports commercial furniture projects, corporate relocations, and decommissions. Working alongside the Warehouse Manager, you’ll help keep products, information, and service needs moving so our crews and clients have what they need.

What You Will Handle

Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming furniture, freight, and materials; document shortages, damage, and discrepancies.

Pull, stage, pack, and load products accurately for installations, deliveries, relocations, and service work.

Safely operate forklifts and order pickers to move, retrieve, and store products throughout the warehouse.

Use computers and the Warehouse Management System to update inventory, enter receiving and shipping information, track product locations, and maintain accurate records.

Communicate professionally with clients by phone, email, and in person; answer questions, provide updates, and coordinate with the appropriate team member when follow-up is needed.

Assist with furniture service work, including assembly, adjustments, minor repairs, and identifying or preparing replacement parts.

Maintain miscellaneous parts, hardware, and service inventory; label and organize bins, track usage, count stock, and report replenishment needs.

Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager and field crews to prepare products, tools, and parts for scheduled jobs and changing priorities.

Keep staging areas, aisles, and workspaces clean and safe, including breaking down packaging and disposing of debris.

Follow safety procedures, report equipment or product concerns promptly, and assist with other warehouse and operational duties as needed.

What You Bring

Proficiency operating a forklift and prior experience operating an order picker are required. You must follow all training, authorization, and safety requirements for equipment use.

A valid driver’s license is required.

Computer proficiency, including accurate data entry, email, and the ability to learn and use inventory or warehouse management software.

Strong communication and customer service skills, with confidence speaking directly with clients.

Attention to detail when handling products, completing paperwork, and maintaining inventory records.

A dependable, hands-on work ethic and the ability to shift between physical work, computer tasks, and client needs.

Furniture assembly, installation, repair, or service experience is helpful.

What to Expect

This is an active role with regular lifting, bending, reaching, standing, and walking, along with time spent on computer work and client communication. Duties include handling furniture and components weighing 50–75 pounds, using appropriate equipment and team assistance as needed. Essential duties must be performed safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Our crews are rolling by 7:00 AM, so punctuality and readiness for an early start matter. Freight schedules and project needs can change quickly; staying organized and communicating clearly help keep the day on track.

Why Join T&M Services

You’ll work with a straightforward, hardworking team and see the results of your work in completed projects and satisfied clients. This role offers experience across warehouse operations, logistics, service, and customer support, with opportunities to grow as you build your skills.

Starting pay is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, plus benefits. Interested? Send us your resume—we’d like to hear from you.
