The Graduate Recruitment Coordinator I, under direction, develops and implements admission, financial aid, and early outreach strategies that enhance the identification, recruitment and enrollment of prospective students. Serves as mentor and trainer for other staff and serves as lead on select recruitment programs.

Responsibilities: Recruitment and Outreach

Conduct individualized enrollment consultations by phone, video conference, email, text, and in person.

Respond promptly to inquiries regarding graduate and professional practice nursing programs, admission requirements, curriculum, licensure, and career opportunities.
-
Develop relationships with healthcare organizations, alumni, professional associations, and community partners to increase awareness of graduate and professional practice nursing programs.
-
Represent the College at recruitment events, graduate fairs, conferences, webinars, information sessions, and open houses.
-
Participate in strategic recruitment initiatives to meet enrollment objectives.
-
Assist students in understanding academic expectations and program outcomes.
-
Connect prospective students with faculty, academic advisors, financial aid, and student support services as appropriate.
Enrollment Coaching
-
Serve as the primary enrollment coach for prospective students from inquiry through matriculation.
-
Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
-
Monitor applicant progress using the institution's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
-
Conduct proactive outreach to encourage application completion and enrollment.
-
Identify and remove barriers that may prevent applicants from successfully enrolling.
-
Maintain regular communication with applicants throughout the enrollment cycle.
-
Maintain accurate records within CRM and admissions systems.
-
Track recruitment activities, applicant engagement, and enrollment outcomes.
-
Prepare reports related to recruitment metrics, conversion rates, and enrollment trends.
-
Utilize data to improve recruitment strategies and applicant communications.
Collaboration and Development
-
Partner with faculty program directors to remain current on curriculum changes and program updates.
-
Collaborate with Admissions, Marketing and Communications, Financial Aid, Academic Advising, Student Affairs, and Registrar staff to support enrollment initiatives.

Participate in recruitment planning and enrollment strategy meetings.
-
Assist in developing recruitment materials, presentations, and communication campaigns.
-
Participate in professional development activities.
-
Remain knowledgeable regarding graduate nursing education, accreditation standards, and enrollment best practices.
-
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Two years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, recruitment, student services, academic advising, healthcare recruitment, customer service, or related field.
-
Master's degree.
-
Knowledge of graduate nursing education and advanced practice nursing roles.
-
Familiarity with admissions platforms such as Slate, NursingCAS, ApplyTexas, Common App, or similar CRM systems.
-
Experience with virtual recruitment technologies and digital marketing strategies.
-
Understanding of financial aid processes for graduate and professional practice students.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
Knowledge of higher education.
-
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
