Full job description
fal is the generative media ecosystem powering the next generation of AI products. We build the infrastructure, tools, and model access that teams need to move from idea to production, and do it at scale without compromise. For developers and enterprises, fal is the foundation that makes generative media not just possible, but practical: a unified platform where high-performance inference, orchestration, and observability come together to unlock new categories of AI-native products. As generative media reshapes industries across a market projected to grow by hundreds of billions over the next decade, fal is becoming the ecosystem that ambitious teams build on.
About The role We're hiring our first-line leader for Enterprise sales in North America. You'll build, coach and run a team of Enterprise Account Executives selling fal to large companies adopting generative media. You own the number, the team and the system that produces both. This is a player-coach seat at the start: you'll be in deals, not just reviewing them.
What you'll do
-
Own the NAMER Enterprise number: quota, forecast accuracy and pipeline coverage for your team.
-
Hire, onboard and develop a team of Enterprise AEs; set a high bar and hold it.
-
Get into the biggest deals yourself: exec sponsorship, pricing, negotiation and close.
-
Build the operating rhythm: deal reviews, forecast calls, pipeline inspection and win/loss.
-
Shape how we sell usage-based infrastructure: deal desk, commit structures and expansion motions.
-
Work closely with Solutions Engineering, Product and Marketing so the field's feedback reaches the roadmap.
-
Write the playbook. Much of it doesn't exist yet.
What we're looking for
-
8+ years in B2B sales, with 3+ years leading quota-carrying Enterprise teams.
-
A track record of hitting team targets, with numbers you can walk us through.
-
Experience selling technical products: APIs, cloud, data, developer platforms or AI/ML.
-
Experience selling consumption or usage-based products, including committed-spend contracts and expansion from usage.
-
You've worked somewhere fast and ambiguous and owned outcomes end to end, not just a slice of the process.
-
You still like selling. You can run a C-level meeting and a pricing negotiation in the same afternoon.
-
Clear thinking and clear writing; you make decisions with incomplete information and own the result.
Nice to have
-
You've been Head of Sales or first sales leader at a Series A–B company and built the team from scratch.
-
Relationships with buyers in media, entertainment, e-commerce, gaming, advertising or consumer apps.
-
Curiosity about generative media; you've played with the models.
What we offer at fal
-
Interesting and challenging work
-
Competitive salary and equity
-
A lot of learning and growth opportunities
-
We are currently hiring in downtown San Francisco.
-
We offer visa sponsorship and will help you relocate to San Francisco.
-
Health, dental, and vision insurance (US)
-
Regular team events and off-sites
Compensation:
- $350,000-$380,000k OTE + equity + comprehensive benefits package
