Full job description

About Syncly Brand growth now runs on short-form video. Luxury brands, century-old CPG names, and three-year-old DTC brands are all posting daily and signing creators. Almost none of them can tell you what actually worked: which content moved consumers, which creator’s audience converts, and which one just has reach. At Syncly, we’re building the AI social intelligence platform for the video era. We show brands what’s breaking out in their category, and which content and creators they should bet on to win it. We’re serial entrepreneurs in video AI who previously built and sold a company for nine figures. We’re backed by Y Combinator, and we work with leading consumer brands including Adobe and Liquid I.V. The role Your single goal: put qualified meetings with the right people at consumer brands on our calendars. You’ll go after marketing, social, brand, and insights leaders, ideally in beauty, CPG, retail, and e-commerce. You’ll be our first BDR. Until now, the founders have led sales themselves, and we’re now figuring out how to scale it. What you learn about who answers, which message lands, and which events pay off becomes how we do that. You’ll report directly to the founders and see how deals get won from your first week. Top performers have a clear path into a closing role. What you’ll do

  • Outbound: Build target account lists and run personalized, multi-threaded outreach across email, LinkedIn, and phone. We don’t measure you on activity counts. We measure you on meetings that turn into real opportunities.
  • Research: Know an account before you reach out: what they’re posting, which creators they work with, what’s breaking out in their category. Use that to give a VP of Marketing a reason to take the call.
  • Events: Turn conferences, hosted dinners, and SF industry events into pipeline. Book meetings before, during, and after.
  • Inbound: Qualify and route inbound demo requests quickly, with clean notes so the first sales call starts strong.
  • Build the playbook: Test messaging, call scripts, and sequences with the founders. Track what works and keep the CRM clean enough that everyone trusts the pipeline numbers.

What we’re looking for

  • 1+ years in an SDR/BDR or other outbound role with a meeting or pipeline target, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
  • Comfortable going cold by phone, email, and LinkedIn, and you keep going after a quiet week
  • A sharp, concise writer who can hold a conversation with a senior marketer
  • Fluent with modern outbound and AI tools (HubSpot or Salesforce, Apollo, Clay, or similar) and you use them daily to work faster
  • Competitive and coachable: you track your own numbers and learn from every no
  • Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate

Bonus points

  • Experience selling to marketing, social, or consumer insights teams at consumer brands or agencies
  • Background in social listening, influencer/creator platforms, or martech
  • You use TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts as a power user and have opinions about what works

What we offer

  • Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 base salary, $110,000–$130,000 OTE with uncapped commission, plus early equity
  • A defined path to an Account Executive role for top performers
  • Healthcare and dental benefits. Free lunch.
  • Location: San Francisco (on-site, hybrid negotiable)
