Full job description

Our client, Recruiting Assistant is seeking a Recruiting Assistant/ HR Assistant to join their team. As a Recruiting Assistant, you will be part of the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition support function, helping ensure every new hire has a smooth, compliant, and welcoming start. The ideal candidate will have strong multitasking ability, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset that aligns successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Recruiting Assistant/ HR Assistant

Location: Corona, CA

Pay Range: $25 per hour

Shift: 8AM-5PM

What's the Job?

  • Take full ownership of the onboarding process from offer acceptance through the employee's first day, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates during the pre-employment and onboarding process, providing timely, accurate updates.

  • Ensure all required new hire paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.

  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug screenings, I-9 verification, E-Verify (if applicable), and related onboarding steps.

  • Support recruiting and HR administrative functions by maintaining candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and assisting with scheduling, screenings, and offer documentation.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum 2 years of recruiting coordination, onboarding, HR administration, or related experience.

  • Proven experience managing employee onboarding processes from start to finish.

  • Strong data entry and administrative skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Experience preparing and processing new hire documentation and employment paperwork, including coordinating recruiting activities and screenings.

  • Experience generating and sending offer letters, plus competency using ATS and HRIS platforms for data management and reporting.
