Organization: SLH-Sutter Lakeside Hospital Position Overview: Sutter Health is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine Physician to join our collegial and dedicated team at Sutter Lakeside Hospital, located in the beautiful mountain ranges of Lake County. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive, patient centered environment with a strong emphasis on quality care and work life balance. Job Description: Key Responsibility Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages in an outpatient clinic setting. Perform routine health maintenance visits, physical exams, and preventive screenings. Diagnose and manage acute illnesses (e.g., infections, minor injuries) and chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma). Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests. Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based guidelines. Prescribe and manage medications, including chronic disease therapies.

Experience

  • Five (5) years of recent, relevant clinical experience preferred

Certification & Licensure

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Eligible for California medical licensure
  • DEA registration
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Additional certifications (PALS, NRP) as required by department policy

Pay Range is $285,001.60 to $544,960.00 / annual salary The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
