Full job description

Description

As the Member Solutions Coordinator, you'll manage routine reporting, review delinquent and at-risk accounts, process small claims filings, and track bankruptcy proceedings, all while serving as a liaison between Member Solutions and other departments across the credit union. You'll work closely with stakeholders in specialized servicing areas - including Bankruptcy, Legal Filings, and Probate - to strengthen processes and improve workflow efficiency.

Leveraging your collections background and strong understanding of servicing operations, you'll also step in to provide hands-on operational support during employee absences or staffing shortages, helping the department maintain continuity and consistent service levels.

As the Member Solutions Coordinator with CFCU, you will:

  • Build reports that drive efficiency. Work closely with the VP Member Solutions to gather information and build reports that increase department efficiency and overall effectiveness, generating and distributing routine collections reports on a scheduled basis.

  • Review accounts and manage filings. Conduct regular reviews of delinquent or at-risk accounts, prepare and file small claims actions, and maintain accurate records of filing status, court dates, and outcomes.

  • Track bankruptcy proceedings. Monitor and follow up on active bankruptcy filings, track case status and deadlines, and coordinate with legal counsel or third parties to protect the Credit Union's interests.

  • Serve as a cross-department liaison. Respond to and coordinate requests for information from other departments and leaders, ensuring timely and accurate information sharing.

  • Coordinate projects and initiatives. Coordinate meetings, projects, and cross-functional initiatives within the Member Solutions team, and assist with documenting and standardizing processes and workflows.

  • Strengthen operational consistency. Partner with subject matter experts to understand operational impacts, support the implementation of business changes, and identify opportunities to improve workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.

  • Provide operational support when needed. Apply your knowledge of collections policies, procedures, and systems to provide hands-on support during employee absences or staffing shortages.

We are looking for a combination of:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred. A combination of education and experience will always be considered.

  • 3+ years of relevant collections, servicing, operations, project coordination, or financial services experience.

  • Demonstrated understanding of collections operations and related servicing processes.

  • Experience coordinating projects, process improvements, or cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and recommend solutions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels of an organization.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
