Make an impact behind the scenes as part of our General Maintenance team. You'll help maintain a safe, reliable, and welcoming environment by completing routine repairs, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and facility upkeep. Bring your maintenance experience, attention to detail, and dedication to keeping essential operations running smoothly.

Manage the upkeep of the hospital complex. Support all Facility Management crafts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist any Facility Management Personnel as directed by the Manager.

• Perform a variety of routine tasks which can involve any mechanical/electrical equipment or systems.

• Perform specific preventative maintenance procedures.

• Assist in the moves of people and equipment.

• Record time and materials expended.

• Remove snow and ice.

• Maintain associated equipment.

• Make truck pick ups and deliveries as need dictates.

• Replace light bulbs.

• Replace ceiling tiles.

• Perform small carpenter jobs.

• Clean ceiling vents, shop, machine room, roof drain and helps with outside grounds in an emergency.

• Remove graffiti.

• Maintain current knowledge of safety procedures within the hospital and department.

• *Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors.

• *Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma required

• 2 years experience required.

• General maintenance/related experience required.

• May in the course of their duties be in rooms where medications are stored. No contact with medications is allowed.
