As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for an PDI Specialist. The role of the PDI Specialist performs basic Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and simple installations at the Road Ready Center as defined by your Training and Development Plan. This is the entry level position at RRC. - Performs Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) as instructed by Kenworth or customer specification and reports any issues to the Foreman. Performs minor warranty work as instructed by Foreman. - Performs DOT inspections using guidelines as provided by Department of Transportation and reports any deficiencies to the Foreman. - Performs simple installations to include but not limited to mud flaps, fire extinguishers, warning triangle, hub covers, etc. - Ability to install basic wiring harness. - Assists other PDI and Installation Specialists as necessary. - Attends training sessions to gain knowledge and experience. - Maintains a neat and orderly work area and properly handles company tools. - Performs all work in a safe and orderly manner while following the safety rules and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. - Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor. Qualifications - Necessary tools to perform position responsibilities. - DOT Annual Inspectors Certification. - Valid CDL and Medical Card is preferred. - Must have good customer relations and communication skills. - Ability to work well co-workers.
