Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 1500 SW 1ST AVE City: OCALA State: Florida Postal Code: 34471 Job Description:

  • Identifies potential resolutions to problems identified in data collection.
  • Audits procedural charges and clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Educates staff on issues related to charging and documentation.
  • Communicates with department management, staff, and others regarding charge and documentation issues.
  • Ensures accurate and efficient charge capture and documentation practices.
  • Manages charge entry for OR/Cardiac Cath procedures.
  • Provides back-up support to staff as needed.
  • Updates charge description master (CDM) charges as directed.
  • Processes purchase orders for implants and batches charges for all devices.
  • Prices and releases manual charges.
  • Supplies monthly reports regarding charge problems to the department director.
  • Other duties ad assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of electronic medical record [Required]
  • Computer proficiency including Excel and Word [Required]
  • Good organizational skills [Required]
  • Knowledge of Surgical/CathLab supplies and products [Required]
  • Charge capture and experience with inventory and supply purchase [Preferred]

Education:

  • Associate's of Nursing [Required]
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

  • Operating Room/Cath lab/Interventional Radiology Experience required

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
  • Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$33.08 - $58.04 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)

Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
