Intermediate Field Controls Technician

Compensation Range: $40/hr - $45/hr Intermediate Field Controls Technician Daleville, VA | Up to 75% Travel Required Take Your HVAC and Controls Skills on the Road Munters is a global leader in climate solutions for mission-critical environments. Our Data Center Service Engineering team is looking for an Intermediate Field Controls Technician to support advanced cooling systems at customer sites across the U.S. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting HVAC and controls systems, traveling to customer sites, and solving technical challenges in the field. What You'll Do * Travel to customer jobsites-up to 75% on average-to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC and controls issues. * Provide technical support to Field Service Technicians onsite and remotely. * Troubleshoot controls programs, HMI systems, and unit/system interfaces. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues. * Support new product development and testing at Munters facilities. * Assist with prototype builds and provide feedback to Engineering and RandD. * Participate in Kaizen and cross-functional improvement initiatives. * Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects. * Work independently while collaborating with Service, Engineering, RandD, and Operations teams. What We're Looking For * 2-4 years of industry experience or relevant trade school/certification. * Experience troubleshooting HVAC equipment and controls systems. * Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams. * Knowledge of HVAC components including compressors, valves, fans, and heat exchangers. * Experience working with equipment involving sheet metal, piping, valves, and heat exchangers. * Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently. * Willingness and ability to travel extensively-up to 75%. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in active industrial/customer environments.
