Technical Architect

Perficient, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Technical Architect. Job Title: Technical Architect Job Location: 555 Maryville University Drive, Ste. 500, St. Louis, MO 63141 (see below note regarding relocation, telecommuting, and travel) Job Duties: Lead the development of customized software, APIs, microservices architecture, AI tools, and integration services. Deploy, monitor, analyze, and visualize system metrics and dashboards. Analyze logs, tracing, and metrics to pinpoint root causes in complex systems and implement lasting fixes. Prepare and create detailed proofs-of-concept from which complex programs will be written or configured. Lead and contribute to sprint planning, grooming, daily scrums, retrospectives, and sprint demonstrations. Provide technical leadership for software development projects and supervision to junior Software Developers. Coordinate with offshore developers as the technical lead and SME for functional requirements. Minimum Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a similar field of study. · 60 months of experience as a Technical Architect, Technical Consultant, Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or any similar IT occupation(s). · Must have experience with each of the following: Java, SQL, Google Cloud, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD, Postman, Apigee API, RESTful API, Automated Testing Framework, cloud deployment, and monitoring application performance. · Position is project-based on short- and long-term assignments at various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each project. Depending on project requirements, telecommuting within the U.S. may be permitted. Domestic travel to client sites may be required up to 20% of the time. Alternative Requirements: · Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a similar field of study. · 36 months of experience as a Technical Architect, Technical Consultant, Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or any similar IT occupation(s). · Must have experience with each of the following: Java, SQL, Google Cloud, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD, Postman, Apigee API, RESTful API, Automated Testing Framework, cloud deployment, and monitoring application performance. · Position is project-based on short- and long-term assignments at various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S., and relocation may be required at the end of each project. Domestic travel to client sites may be required up to 20% of the time Additional Information: · Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. · The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The salary range for this position is $146,474 to $175,000 per year.
