Job Description

Be a core contributor to a modern Jobs & Skills architecture—supporting consistent, well-documented job and skills taxonomy decisions that scale across the enterprise. You’ll help drive job code and job description updates, strengthen controls and auditability, and support operational processes that enable talent mobility, workforce planning, and career growth. Working across HR and the business, you’ll help manage downstream impacts to systems, reporting, and processes to ensure changes are implemented cleanly and consistently.

As an Associate within the Workforce Architecture team in Human Resources’ Talent & Employee Experience organization, you will support delivery of the Jobs & Skills transformation agenda. You will contribute to roadmap planning, business sequencing, Jobs-to-be-Done use case activation, stakeholder alignment, change management, communications, product readiness, and adoption. Partnering closely with Delivery, Product, Data & Analytics, HR, and business teams, you will help translate Jobs & Skills capabilities into practical employee, manager, HR, and business experiences at enterprise scale.

Job responsibilities

  • Support execution of modern job architecture activities, including job families, levels, job descriptions, career paths, and skills taxonomy updates.

  • Assist with job–task–skill mapping by organizing inputs, documenting decisions, validating data, and maintaining alignment to defined standards.

  • Coordinate job description updates by incorporating task examples, skills inputs, and consistent role information.

  • Support mass employee job code update activities by tracking impacted populations, coordinating inputs, documenting decisions, and monitoring execution status.

  • Partner with HR, Product, Jobs, Skills, and business teams to coordinate operational updates across systems, processes, reporting, and downstream stakeholders.

  • Maintain documentation, trackers, action logs, issue logs, and status updates to support accurate and timely delivery.

  • Support governance and control activities by following standards, validating required approvals, documenting decisions, and escalating risks or gaps.

  • Coordinate with Risk, Controls, and Legal partners to ensure appropriate guardrails are considered during execution.

  • Prepare implementation materials, stakeholder updates, and readiness documentation to support execution planning and adoption.

  • Capture feedback, lessons learned, risks, and operational insights from delivery work to inform transformation priorities and continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to process improvements that increase speed, consistency, transparency, and scalability across Jobs & Skills delivery activities.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting job architecture and/or skills taxonomy efforts (e.g., job families/levels, job descriptions, career paths, job codes, role mapping).

  • Demonstrated ability to organize ambiguous inputs and translate them into clear documentation, decisions, and outcomes.

  • Experience supporting mapping activities (e.g., job-to-task-to-skill) including data validation, issue resolution, and alignment to standards.

  • Familiarity with HR systems of record and how changes to job/position data impact downstream integrations, reporting, and operational workflows.

  • Experience supporting operational delivery for large-scale updates (e.g., impacted population tracking, status monitoring, execution coordination).

  • Strong control mindset, including following defined processes, validating approvals, documenting decisions, and escalating risks/gaps.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing implementation/readiness materials and stakeholder updates.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain trackers, action logs, and issue/risk logs with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and shifting priorities while maintaining delivery quality and transparency.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with job architecture, job codes, job descriptions, skills taxonomies, role mapping, workforce planning, or HR data.

  • Familiarity with HR systems of record, job or position data, downstream integrations, reporting processes, or workflow impacts.

  • Experience supporting large-scale data updates, employee mapping, operational readiness, implementation tracking, or process governance.

  • Experience working in a large, matrixed organization with cross-functional stakeholders and evolving delivery priorities.
