Job Description

One of Insight Global's clients is looking for a Top Secret Project Manager. This person will lead the execution of large-scale, mission-critical government IT programs supporting highly secure environments. This individual will serve as the primary program lead, owning integrated project plans, roadmaps, schedules, staffing, budgets, risks, and customer communications while ensuring successful contract delivery. The ideal candidate has experience managing complex technical programs, coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines, and driving projects from planning through operational delivery. Day to day, you'll work closely with engineering leadership, government stakeholders, recruiting teams, and executive leadership to ensure projects stay on schedule, within scope, and aligned to customer objectives while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

This is a 100% onsite 6 month contract to hire position in Baltimore, Annapolis, or Linthicum Heights, MD offering a pay range of $127K - $150K depending on experience. If interested please apply!

Skills and Requirements

  • Active Top Secret Clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex government IT programs, projects, or portfolios
  • Proven experience building and managing integrated program plans, roadmaps, schedules, and work breakdown structures (WBS)
  • Experience leading cross-functional technical teams through design, implementation, migration, transition, and operational delivery efforts
  • Strong program management experience in government or FAR-regulated environments, including stakeholder management, risk management, budgeting, and contract execution
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, networking, systems administration, or cybersecurity programs
  • Experience working in classified, air-gapped, or high-security environments
  • Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity frameworks and controls
  • PMP or similar project management certification
  • Experience supporting large-scale modernization, migration, or transformation initiatives
