What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 20 production employees

• Drive performance across safety, quality, productivity, scrap, and operational metrics

• Monitor production output and address issues impacting performance

• Manage attendance, staffing, and shift readiness

• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture

• Support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives

• Communicate production goals and expectations to team members

• Collaborate with operations, quality, and supply chain teams to achieve business objectives

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience

• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing, automotive, warehouse, or industrial environment

• Strong communication and employee development skills

• Basic computer proficiency, including email and data entry

• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Experience:

• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement

• Automotive manufacturing

• Union workforce supervision

• Quality or Supply Chain leadership

• Military leadership

• Timekeeping and labor management systems

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing operation

• Highly visible leadership role on the production floor

• Frequent interaction with employees and operational leaders

• Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs., and active engagement throughout the shift

• Rotating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts with weekend work and overtime opportunities

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lockport, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
