Full job description
The FOH Manager supports the General Manager and is primarily responsible for front-of-house execution, employee supervision, guest experience, shift leadership, cash controls, service standards, and employee accountability. Essential Responsibilities Serve as Manager on Duty when assigned. Conduct pre-shift meetings. Assign server sections and FOH positions. Supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, runners, bussers, and barbacks. Monitor guest flow and table turns. Resolve guest concerns. Approve permitted voids, discounts, refunds, and comps. Review server and bartender checkout paperwork. Verify tip-out documentation. Review POS shift reports. Monitor cash-handling procedures. Document walk-outs and operating incidents. Monitor employee attendance and punctuality. Complete coaching and disciplinary documentation. Monitor FOH cleanliness. Assist with alcohol inventory control. Verify alcohol replenishment records. Assist with scheduling and training. Support opening and closing procedures. Complete manager daily logs and scorecards.
