Full job description
About the role The Uniswap Labs team is building products to unlock value through universal exchange. Our products, the Uniswap Interface, the Uniswap Mobile App and the Uniswap Extension, are powered by the Uniswap Protocol. When you join Uniswap, you become part of a team reshaping how value flows on the internet. We are looking for a Head of Talent to build and lead how Uniswap Labs finds, hires and develops great people. You will define the long-term talent strategy, lead the recruiting team, and partner with leadership to hire the engineers, designers and operators who build what comes next. Responsibilities
-
Own Uniswap Labs' long-term talent strategy and workforce plan, working with the executive team on priorities, headcount, org design and timing
-
Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on role scoping, leveling and compensation
-
Set a high, consistent hiring bar and keep it as we grow
-
Work with team leads on internal talent development: career paths, promotions, mobility and succession for key roles
-
Help shape how we assess performance and growth
-
Build, mentor, and scale the recruiting team, from in-house recruiters and coordinators
-
Stay close to the work: take on key searches yourself, including senior and hard-to-fill roles
-
Build proactive pipelines through sourcing, talent mapping and relationships across engineering, product, design within and beyond the industry
-
Run a candidate experience that is fast, clear and respectful, from first call through offer and close
-
Own recruiting operations: our ATS and tooling, interview process, interviewer training and scheduling
-
Track pipeline, speed, quality and cost, and use the data to improve how we hire
-
Work with other team leads on leveling, compensation, onboarding and a smooth first day for every new hire
What we're looking for
-
10+ years of recruiting experience, including 3+ years leading recruiting teams in a fast-growing technology company
-
A track record of building a recruiting function from a small team and scaling it, while staying hands-on
-
Experience hiring senior engineering, product, design, and business talent in competitive markets
-
Experience with long-term workforce planning, org design and talent strategy, working directly across the leadership team
-
Strong judgment advising leaders on hiring strategy, role design, leveling and compensation
-
Experience supporting internal talent development, such as performance, career paths and succession, alongside recruiting
-
Comfort with data: you set metrics, read the pipeline and change the process when the numbers say so
-
Hands-on experience with an ATS and recruiting tools, and the ability to choose and improve our stack
-
A clear, direct communicator who builds trust with candidates, hiring managers and your own team
-
Able to work from our SoHo, New York office
Nice to have
-
Recruiting experience at a crypto, tech or other high-bar, fast-moving company
-
A network of senior engineering, product, design, and business talent in tech
-
Experience leading or partnering on people work beyond recruiting, such as talent development, performance programs and succession planning
-
Experience across recruiting and people operations, such as leveling, compensation design and onboarding
-
Curiosity about crypto and the Uniswap ecosystem
