Full job description
Company description
Saatchi & Saatchi was founded on a simple, yet ambitious belief: “Nothing Is Impossible.” That belief has inspired us to help our clients realize what they thought were impossible ambitions. It’s led the agency to invent entirely new ways to communicate. And now, it’s pushing us to deliver previously impossible levels of impact through Intelligent Creativity, backed by Publicis Groupe’s unprecedented $12B+ investment in AI, data and technology. We’re excited about what we’ll make possible next – and all that’s missing is talent like you.
Saatchi & Saatchi currently maintains a hybrid work policy to work in-office four days per week. This role is based in New York City, with no exceptions.
Overview
Saatchi NY is looking for an NYC-based CD that can make big ideas live everywhere, especially in social.
This is an NYC-based role and is not remote. Candidates must be based in New York City and able to work in-office. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
You’re conceptual thinkers and exceptional makers. Player-coaches who can lead a room, mentor a team, present to clients and still get your hands dirty making the work better.
And you really know social.
Not "we cut the TV spot down for TikTok" social.
We mean creatives who understand what makes social social . People who know the difference between creating content and creating conversation. Who follow culture closely enough to know what people are talking about today and are smart enough to figure out what they'll want to talk about tomorrow.
You can make the everyday post sing, then turn around and create a social-first tentpole idea that gets the internet talking and award juries taking notice.
Strong social experience isn't a nice-to-have. It's essential.
We're looking for:
-
Integrated thinkers with standout social-first work
-
Deep understanding of TikTok, Snapchat and emerging social behaviors
-
Big conceptual thinkers who obsess over execution
-
Comedy experience. A must.
-
Sports experience. A plus.
-
Confident client-facing presenters
-
Collaborative leaders who make the people and the work around them better
For Art , we're looking for exceptional visual craft plus serious fluency with today's AI creative tools.
For Copy , we're looking for someone who can nail the manifesto, the :30, the headline and the social post, with genuinely great comedy instincts throughout.
You'll have guidance from your ECD along with the autonomy to push the work somewhere unexpected.
You'll also join a small team that's won 20+ international awards in three years.
High expectations. Big opportunity. Let's make something people actually want to talk about.
