The DeepFires Portfolio within the Land and Air Defense Systems Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Senior Program Manager with a background leading advanced development and prototype programs with Internal Investments for an execution position within the portfolio. These programs represent significant growth within the DeepFires portfolio with potential of $150M+ over the next 5 years. You will lead cross-functionally and manage cost, schedule, and technical performance.

What You Will Do

• Lead a team of cross-functional high performing members to develop autonomous mobile land-based weapon systems

• IMS and EVMS implementation and execution, to include meeting EAC requirements

• Display strong communication and presentation skills with both leadership and external customers

• Responsible for financial metrics, IMS management and EVMS implementation and execution, to include meeting EAC requirements

• Expected to support domestic and international travel as needed (between Raytheon sites and visiting customer locations in support of business execution and growth requirements). Travel can be 25-40% of the time.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

• Program management, systems engineering, or related military experience

• Experience leading systems development and/or engineering design

• Experience with IMS and EVMS, and/or managing cost and schedules

Qualifications We Prefer

• Proven track record of supporting capture efforts and successfully executing programs for Army and Marine Corps programs, DoW Services’ laboratories and Program Offices

• 5+ years’ experience successfully managing technology development programs and IRAD

• Experience leading new business capture activities and winning new business in a competitive environment

• Strong experience with Advanced Programs

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
