Job Description

Lead and develop the division quality organization, including supplier quality, customer quality, production quality, inspection, and audit teams across multiple manufacturing sites. Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements. Drive quality initiatives focused on defect reduction, cost of poor quality (COPQ) improvement, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. Partner with engineering, operations, supply chain, and leadership teams to enhance product quality, manufacturing processes, and overall operational performance. Lead internal audits, supplier audits, customer audits, and regulatory compliance activities while serving as the Management Representative for Quality Systems. Oversee material review boards, quality metrics, and performance reporting to ensure quality objectives and customer expectations are achieved. Promote a culture of quality, lean principles, problem-solving, and quality-at-the-source throughout the division.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field. 5+ years of progressive quality leadership experience, including at least 3 years leading a quality organization within a large, complex manufacturing environment. Multi-site quality leadership experience. Strong background in electronics manufacturing, including electronic assemblies, components, SMT, and through-hole manufacturing processes. Experience managing ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and leading audit activities. Expertise in root cause analysis, CAPA, 8D problem solving, SPC, PFMEA, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior leadership, customers, suppliers, and regulatory stakeholders ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. IPC-A-610 certification and hands-on knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards. Experience reducing COPQ and driving large-scale quality transformation initiatives. Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced quality analytics tools. Prior experience supporting highly regulated manufacturing environments with complex customer and supplier quality requirements.
