We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that full-time employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. This in-office expectation does not apply to contractor positions About the role As we continue to expand globally, Applied Intuition is looking for an experienced accounting leader to strengthen our intercompany operations, consolidation processes, and internal controls. Reporting directly to the Director of Accounting, you'll own intercompany accounting across our global entities, support financial consolidations, and drive improvements in accounting processes, controls, and automation. You'll partner closely with FP&A, Revenue, Tax, and Business Technology to build scalable systems and streamline financial operations. This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership and help shape the accounting infrastructure of a rapidly growing global business.
At Applied Intuition, you will:
-
Own intercompany accounting across our global entities, including reconciliations, settlements, transfer pricing adjustments, eliminations, and foreign currency transactions.
-
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation and financial reporting processes in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring accurate financial statements across international entities.
-
Partner cross-functionally with Tax, FP&A, Revenue, and other teams to resolve complex accounting matters and ensure consistent treatment of intercompany transactions.
-
Maintain and optimize consolidation processes within NetSuite, including entity structures, account mappings, elimination rules, and the integration of new entities and acquisitions.
-
Research and document technical accounting matters related to consolidations, restructurings, acquisitions, and other complex transactions.
-
Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and close procedures to improve financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and audit readiness.
-
Partner with external auditors and support financial statement audits, balance sheet reviews, and other reporting requirements.
-
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across intercompany accounting, consolidations, and financial reporting, partnering with cross-functional teams to build scalable systems and workflows.
We're looking for someone who has:
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
-
8+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally combining Big 4 public accounting and experience in a software or technology company.
-
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 810 and ASC 830, with extensive experience in multi-entity consolidations, intercompany accounting, foreign currency transactions, and working knowledge of transfer pricing.
-
Proficiency in NetSuite, preferably within a multi-subsidiary environment, and experience driving finance systems improvements and automation initiatives.
-
Experience developing and maintaining internal controls, accounting policies, and process documentation; SOX compliance or audit-readiness experience is a plus.
-
Strong analytical skills and sound judgment in evaluating complex accounting matters, materiality, and financial reporting adjustments.
-
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Finance, Tax, and technical teams and mentor accounting team members.
