Check out our investors and read more about us here. About the team The Sales Manager, Fintech reports to Alloy's VP of Enterprise & Fintech Sales and leads sales to medium to large fintech companies in North America. This pivotal role requires formulating and implementing an account-based sales strategy, with a particular focus on payments companies and platforms that move money for consumers and businesses, including payment processors, merchant services providers, and business payments platforms. In this position, you'll lead a team of four high-performing Account Executives, supporting their development and coaching them to exceed their goals. This role is hands-on and strategic. We expect this leader to engage directly with clients and prospects while shaping our go-to-market strategy for the fintech segment, helping companies address fraud prevention and regulatory compliance through a unified platform across the customer lifecycle. Our fintech segment is still taking shape, and we’re looking for a leader who thrives in ambiguity and is excited to build the team’s processes, operating rhythm, and direction. This role is hands-on and strategic. Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite three days a week. What you'll be doing The Sales Manager plays a critical role at Alloy by identifying new processes to accelerate revenue growth, building Alloy's foundational knowledge base of the fintech landscape, and more. You will be responsible for:

  • Quota Ownership and Strategic Sales Execution: Lead strategies to execute against quotas for medium to large fintech companies in North America. Drive a consistent operating rhythm, accurate forecasting, and disciplined execution across complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Coach, recruit, and retain top-tier Account Executives, developing their ability to navigate complex organizations and close strategic platform deals.
  • Strategy: Work closely with Alloy’s leadership team to refine and execute our fintech strategy, positioning Alloy’s combined fraud and compliance capabilities for payments companies and other fintechs.
  • Pipeline Generation: Execute an account-based strategy and weekly operating cadence to drive sustained AE and partner-sourced pipeline generation within our medium to large fintech ICP (Ideal Customer Profile).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop strong cross-functional relationships across the Alloy leadership team, becoming a trusted thought partner on all fintech-related matters.
  • Marketing Insights and Growth Opportunities: Translate customer conversations and industry developments into recommendations for new sales opportunities, product capabilities, and partnerships.
  • Opportunity Evaluation: Evaluate white space business, product, and partnership opportunities.
  • Thought Leadership: Build thought leadership on the future state of the fintech industry and its potential impact on Alloy’s overall strategy

Who we’re looking for

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales leadership within a high-growth or scaling technology company, with a track record of developing high-performing Account Executives.
  • Track record of exceeding goals and quotas through complex, consultative sales to medium to large organizations.
  • Demonstrates a genuine passion for fintech. Experience selling to payments companies, including payment processors, merchant services providers, or business payments platforms, is a plus, but is not required.
  • Required: A proven history of selling complex technology platforms, beyond standalone point solutions, and coaching sellers to do the same. Able to align business and technical stakeholders, build a compelling business case, and navigate lengthy evaluation and procurement processes.
  • Brings a collaborative, low-ego approach to working across Go-To-Market, Pre- and Post-sales, Product, and other cross-functional teams, recognizing that success at Alloy depends on strong partnerships across the business.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of autonomy in work.
  • Possess a process-oriented mindset that can drive consensus across cross-functional teams and successfully bring projects to completion.
