Full job description

Ensure Excellence, Inspire Confidence!

Help support NGA’s GEOINT Professional Certification (GPC) Program by ensuring certification examinations are scheduled, administered, and documented accurately, securely, and consistently.

As a Certification Exam Administrator, you will support the day-to-day administration of GEOINT certification examinations, including scheduling assessments, proctoring exams, providing clear instructions and assistance to candidates, and responding to candidate and testing-site inquiries. You will also maintain certification and accreditation records, manage exam data, safeguard testing materials, and track those materials throughout their lifecycle. You’ll follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs), security requirements, and accreditation standards to help ensure every examination is administered consistently and with a high level of accuracy. You may also support external testing sites, assist with audits, and help train proctors and other personnel involved in the certification process.

This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and confident communicating with a variety of audiences. Your attention to detail and commitment to following established processes will help maintain the integrity and credibility of NGA’s professional certification program.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000

Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

  • Entry-level position intended for candidates with less than 3 years of relevant experience

  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Excel to retrieve, organize, and manage data

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to reliably follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Demonstrated experience analyzing processes and providing actionable recommendations to improve workflow efficiency and accuracy

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including providing customer service and clearly conveying instructions to diverse audiences

  • Comfortable delivering public presentations, including reading and explaining 10-to-15-minute proctoring scripts and responding to participant questions

Desired:

  • Experience using Microsoft Access to organize, manage and track records or databases

  • Knowledge of records management policies and procedures to ensure compliance and proper documentation

  • Familiarity with Reasonable Accommodations to support test-takers with diverse needs
