Are you energized by solving complex engineering issues and driving clear, accountable resolution across the full automotive lifecycle? Our client is seeking an Issue Management professional to lead the intake, documentation, coordination, and resolution of engineering-related issues across all vehicle families and development phases. From validation and HIL testing to PWB and in-market performance (IOP, QFS, IQS, warranty), you’ll act as a central point of contact to ensure issues are properly tracked, communicated, and closed with quality rigor. What's the Job?

  • Lead issue management by driving the intake, documentation, coordination, and resolution of engineering-related issues across all vehicle families and development phases.

  • Serve as the central point of contact to ensure issues identified during validation, HIL testing, PWB, and in-market performance (IOP, QFS, IQS, warranty) are properly tracked and resolved.

  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment and accountability throughout the engineering lifecycle, including post-production follow-through.

  • Manage data and reporting to maintain visibility into issue status, progress, and resolution outcomes.

  • Prepare glidepaths for issue resolution tickets to show forecast and progress of the team.

What's Needed?

  • Experience with automotive electrical and electronic systems.

  • Strong working knowledge of quality tools including APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, and PFMEA.

  • Proven issue management skills with clear coordination and communication across engineering and cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to manage data and reporting with accuracy, consistency, and traceability.

  • Experience documenting lessons learned with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement.
