The Opportunity To work as a team member for a leading electrical contractor as a Virtual Design & Construction Intern, assisting with electrical design coordination, BIM/VDC processes, and virtual design to prefabrication workflows. The Intern will work under the close supervision of professional staff and assist with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks, including design coordination, clash detection and resolution, drawing scope and revision reviews, and documenting project changes. The Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the coordination and development of electrical construction projects while contributing to the specific goals of the VDC department and company. Key Responsibilities 1. Assisting with electrical design coordination using Autodesk Revit 2. Assisting with Virtual Design to Prefabrication workflows and handoffs 3. Performing Clash Detection and Resolution using Autodesk Navisworks and Revit 4. Performing drawing scope revision reviews, documenting changes (blueprints and finding changes) Who We're Looking For Required: 1. Pursuing a Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, or Certification in Construction/Engineering related field, Computer-Aided Design (CAD)/Design Technology 2. Technical school students with relevant coursework or experience in Revit, Navisworks, BIM, or CAD are encouraged to apply. 3. Valid Driver's License. 4. Authorized to work in the U.S. Desired: 1.
