You'll collaborate with digital advertising specialists, product marketing teams, data engineers, and creative partners to support media programs across the Americas (80%) and EMEA (20%). This is an opportunity to contribute to a globally connected team where your analytical expertise will help inform decisions about how Cisco reaches and engages customers.

Your Impact As a Media Reporting & Insights Analyst, you'll transform complex media performance data into meaningful insights that help Cisco optimize digital marketing campaigns and investments across the full marketing funnel. You'll use SQL, Excel, and Tableau to extract, clean, analyze, and visualize data from multiple advertising channels, including paid search, social, programmatic, and content syndication. Working closely with our global media agency and regional marketing stakeholders, you'll identify performance trends, develop actionable recommendations, and communicate findings that support data-driven decisions. You'll also leverage AI-powered tools to improve reporting efficiency, accelerate analysis, and support data quality and automation initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Media Performance Analysis: Analyze cross-channel and campaign-level performance data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and recommend opportunities to improve marketing outcomes.
  • Data Extraction & Preparation: Query databases using SQL, clean and organize datasets, and develop data tables that support accurate reporting, dashboard development, and automation.
  • Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards that translate complex media data into accessible, actionable insights for marketing stakeholders.
  • Reporting & Insights: Develop recurring performance reports and present findings that connect campaign results to marketing objectives and investment decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global media agency teams, regional marketing stakeholders, and data engineers to support reporting needs, address data discrepancies, and improve data accuracy.
  • AI & Process Improvement: Apply AI-powered tools and automation techniques to streamline data analysis, improve reporting workflows, and accelerate insight generation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in digital media analytics, marketing analytics, media planning, or marketing business intelligence.
  • Hands-on experience using SQL and Excel to query, manipulate, and analyze data for reporting and business insights.
  • Experience extracting, cleaning, transforming, and preparing datasets from multiple data sources for analysis or reporting.
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards or data visualizations using Tableau.
  • Experience analyzing digital advertising performance data across one or more channels, such as paid search, paid social, programmatic advertising, or content syndication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift, including building or maintaining data tables for reporting.
  • Experience with digital advertising measurement, tracking and reporting platforms such as Google Campaign Manager 360 (CM360), IAS, or Adobe Experience Cloud.
  • Experience supporting media analytics or reporting for a global marketing organization, media agency, or multi-region advertising program.
  • Experience using Python, GitHub, or other scripting and version control tools to support data preparation, workflow automation, or reporting processes.
  • Experience leveraging generative AI tools to accelerate data analysis, automate reporting workflows, improve SQL development, or generate marketing performance insights.
