Full job description

Overview

The Global Benefits team develops the strategic framework for meaningful benefits that support Intuit’s global workforce with the aim to foster a healthy and productive workforce, provide competitive benefits that support our talent, and drive positive sentiment. Within Global Wellbeing, we strive to execute a seamless and delightful experience that supports employees’ overall wellbeing and enables our employees to do the best work of their lives.

To further help deliver on this mission, we are seeking an experienced and driven program manager to lead and manage our global family care and women’s health benefit programs and to support our overall global wellbeing strategy.

This role is an exciting opportunity to own, optimize, and shape Intuit’s family care and women’s health benefit programs day to day, while continuously and strategically reviewing the family care and women’s health benefits landscape. Alongside this work, you will support the Senior Manager of Global Wellbeing with global wellbeing strategy and program management. You will research programs, analyze data, and create strategic proposals, and you will work with internal stakeholders and leaders, external consultants, and third-party vendors to stay abreast of market trends and opportunities. You will own vendor management end to end, including budgeting, purchase order (PO) creation and management, and onsite event strategy, in close partnership with the Benefits team, Sourcing, Legal, Tech, and Payroll. The aim is to ensure meaningful outcomes for our employees and their families. You will take ownership of your programs while partnering openly and in close collaboration with the Senior Manager and key stakeholders.

The Benefit Program Manager for Intuit’s Family Care, Women’s Health, and Global Wellbeing is a member of our People and Places team and reports to the Senior Manager for Intuit’s Global Wellbeing. This role will help develop and implement strategies for world-class family care and wellbeing benefits and is an ideal opportunity for a creative, collaborative, and curious self-starter. The aim is to leverage data, understand the market and ecosystem, and strive for innovation to develop a holistic program strategy, while creating a delightful employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the global family care and women’s health benefit programs day to day, including ongoing assessment of offerings and policies (contract review, benchmarking, performance data, member experience, outcomes)

  • Refine and iterate global minimum standards and strategic program design based on gaps, global equity, employee feedback, and cultural/social considerations

  • Continuously and strategically review the family care and women’s health landscape with consultants and internal Intuit teams, monitoring feedback, benchmarking, trends, innovative market disruptors, and the vendor landscape

  • Lead end-to-end strategic vendor management: analyze vendor reporting, internal trends, and voice of employee feedback and surveys; perform due diligence on performance guarantees, member experience, escalations, and gaps in care; and coordinate with vendors and key stakeholders to implement improvements and track results

  • Own the annual budget for family care and women’s health programs and vendors, including forecasting and tracking spend against budget, and partner with Sourcing to create and manage purchase orders (POs) through the full vendor lifecycle

  • Assess and initiate recommendations for program review (RFI/RFP), expansion, and vendor changes to mitigate gaps, create equity, and enhance benefits, and develop the supporting strategic proposals and documents

  • Partner with key stakeholders across Intuit to earn trust as a subject matter expert; establish mechanisms (such as an Advisory Board) to ensure strong lines of communication and inclusion

  • Partner with Benefit Communications to increase awareness, enhance engagement, and effectively manage change

  • Develop and execute an event strategy for family care, women’s health programs and global wellbeing (e.g., vendor-led education sessions, wellbeing events, and awareness campaigns), in partnership with Benefit Communications, ERGs, and site teams, and measure impact on engagement

  • Support Employee Resource Group (ERG) community engagement, monitor global activity, and partner on benefit-focused requests or educational opportunities

  • Establish a cadence of meetings and coordinate annual and quarterly stakeholder-inclusive report outs

  • Partner with and support the Senior Manager of Global Wellbeing on global wellbeing strategy and program management, including RFI/RFP processes and strategic proposals for mental health and wellbeing programs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (i.e., Business Administration, Human Resources, Data Science/Analytics, Health Program Statistics); master's degree preferred

  • 6-8 years medium-to-large employer experience (10,000+ employees/covered lives) working in benefit program design, program operations, vendor management (including budgeting and PO management), or population health management with a preference for family care, women’s health, mental health, or wellbeing experience

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated project management with end-to-end experience selecting and launching programs and a proven ability to drive projects to successful completion, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and meet deadlines

  • Strong data analytic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize information into solutions or strategies, and sound business judgment with a bias for action

  • Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to "tell the story" with data and deliver high quality, impactful decks, employee communications, and white papers

  • Strong sense of ownership: takes accountability for program outcomes and works autonomously in ambiguous circumstances, while engaging in radical partnership with the Senior Manager and key stakeholders by sharing context early, co-creating strategy, and challenging ideas constructively

  • Relationship builder who partners effectively across a highly matrixed, multi-stakeholder organization, including the Benefits team, Sourcing, Legal, Tech, and Payroll
