Job Description

Bring your accounting expertise to the center of one of JPMorganChase’s fastest-evolving businesses. As an Associate on the Card & Connected Commerce Controllers team, you’ll help power Chase Media Solutions by owning the end-to-end accounting for revenue and receivables—turning card-linked offer performance data into accurate, decision-ready financial outcomes.

In this role, you’ll apply revenue recognition standards with precision, generate invoices, execute intercompany transfers, and actively manage receivables to keep the business moving. You’ll be trusted to independently investigate variances, perform deep-dive data mining, and elevate reporting through thoughtful analysis and strong technical execution.

You’ll also work cross-functionally with Sales, Business Operations, and Finance in a highly collaborative, high-visibility environment—building a broad, practical understanding of the full Card & Connected Commerce P&L while contributing to a business that’s growing and changing quickly.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with P&L reporting and month-end close processes; Revenue Recognition, Invoicing, Receivables Management.

  • Prepare balance sheet substantiation and support reconciliations (e.g., accruals, deferred revenue, intercompany).

  • Deliver detailed analytical reporting to business managers and senior finance leadership.

  • Supporting card products, Card & Connected Commerce, or comparable consumer finance businesses.

  • Effective stakeholder management—provide clear status updates and responds promptly.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • 5+ years of related finance, accounting, or reporting experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in either Accounting, Finance or a related discipline

  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage working towards rigorous deadlines

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel, plus Word and PowerPoint.

  • Working knowledge of US GAAP, regulatory reporting, and internal control concepts.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • ERP experience (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and strong general ledger familiarity.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Experience supporting card products, Card & Connected Commerce, or comparable consumer finance businesses.

  • Effective stakeholder management—provides clear status updates and responds promptly.

  • Ability to switch seamlessly between discussion and execution across multiple projects.
