Paralegal

Description We are looking for a Paralegal to support legal matters in Tempe, Arizona. This position focuses on bankruptcy and litigation work, with an emphasis on preparing filings, organizing case materials, and assisting attorneys throughout the legal process. The ideal candidate brings solid experience with Chapter 7 matters and can contribute confidently in a fast-paced legal environment. This opportunity offers a regular Monday through Friday schedule and employee benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit legal documents for bankruptcy and litigation matters with a high level of accuracy.

• Support attorneys handling Chapter 7 cases and provide additional assistance on Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 matters when needed.

• Coordinate court filings and maintain organized records to ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met.

• Draft clear correspondence, including client and court-related letters, based on case needs and attorney direction.

• Assist with discovery activities by collecting, organizing, and tracking case information and supporting documents.

• Help manage litigation files from intake through resolution, ensuring materials are current and accessible.

• Contribute to trial preparation by assembling exhibits, organizing evidence, and preparing case documentation.

• Use case management software to monitor progress, update matter details, and support efficient file administration. Requirements • At least 3 years of paralegal experience, preferably within bankruptcy and litigation environments.

• Hands-on experience supporting Chapter 7 matters is required; exposure to Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 is preferred.

• Working knowledge of court filing procedures and legal document preparation.

• Experience with discovery processes, civil litigation support, and trial preparation.

• Proficiency with case management software and general legal file organization.

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft clear and thorough correspondence.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities within established deadlines.
