Our team plays a critical role in shaping the future of Uber's Finance organization, partnering across Finance, Technology, and Operations to modernize processes, strengthen financial insights, and build scalable capabilities that support Uber's continued growth and complexity.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of Finance at Uber, leading high-impact initiatives across financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and broader Finance operations. Working directly with senior Finance leaders, you'll tackle complex business challenges, reimagine existing ways of working, and design innovative, scalable solutions that drive meaningful impact across the organization.

We're looking for someone who combines strong financial acumen, strategic problem-solving, and exceptional program leadership with a passion for leveraging data, automation, and AI to transform how Finance operates.

What You'll Do

  • Drive strategic transformation: Lead high-impact initiatives that modernize Finance processes, strengthen business insights, and deliver measurable operational improvements.

  • Shape future-state solutions: Partner with Finance and business leaders to assess existing processes, challenge the status quo, and develop scalable solutions that address underlying business needs.

  • Lead complex programs: Independently drive cross-functional initiatives from strategy and design through implementation, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment to deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Champion data and AI innovation: Identify opportunities to leverage data, automation, analytics, and AI to improve financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision-making.

  • Strengthen data foundations: Collaborate with Finance Technology and Data teams to improve data quality, integration, and accessibility to enable more reliable financial insights.

  • Influence senior leadership: Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, synthesize complex challenges into compelling recommendations, and drive alignment across teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of experience in FP&A, Strategic Finance, or Finance Transformation, with strong functional expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and business performance management.

  • Strong financial acumen, analytical capabilities, and structured problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct FP&A or Strategic Finance experience, preferably within a large-scale or high-growth technology company.

  • Experience leading the transformation of financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, or broader Finance operating processes.

  • Strong understanding of financial data structures, data flows, and their impact on financial processes and business insights.

  • Demonstrated ability to leverage automation, advanced analytics, or AI to improve Finance processes and decision-making.

  • Proven ability to independently identify opportunities, develop strategic recommendations, and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing senior leaders and navigating ambiguity.
