Senior Manager, Life & Annuities Transformation (AI & Agentic AI)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager with deep expertise in the Life & Annuities insurance domain and a proven track record in business transformation. The ideal candidate brings 10–12 years of experience across Life & Annuities operations, underwriting, policy administration, claims, new business, and servicing, plus 1–2 years leading AI and Agentic AI transformation initiatives.

In this role, you will partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities, optimize operations, and drive adoption of AI-powered and autonomous agent-based solutions across the insurance value chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business transformation initiatives across Life & Annuities operations.

• Drive process optimization and operational excellence using AI and Agentic AI solutions.

• Assess and redesign end-to-end processes across policy administration, underwriting, claims, new business, and customer servicing.

• Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and technology teams to define transformation roadmaps.

• Identify and implement AI use cases, including intelligent assistants, workflow automation, decision support, and autonomous agents.

• Support platform modernization initiatives involving policy administration and core insurance systems.

• Lead stakeholder management, change management, and adoption activities.

• Develop business cases, operating models, process maps, and transformation strategies.

• Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and governance requirements are built into transformation programs.

• Mentor consulting teams and provide thought leadership to clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in Life & Annuities insurance.

• Strong understanding of policy administration, underwriting, claims, new business, servicing, and distribution processes.

• 1–2 years of experience in AI, Generative AI, and Agentic AI-led transformation programs.

• Experience identifying and implementing AI-driven business process improvements.

• Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and transformation leadership skills.

• Experience working with insurance platforms and digital transformation programs.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience leading cross-functional and global teams.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%, based on project needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GenAI platforms, intelligent automation, and agentic frameworks.

• Insurance industry certifications (e.g., LOMA/ACS/FLMI, CPCU) and business analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).

• Experience with cloud-based insurance transformation initiatives.
