Hours: 12 hour shifts, 7:00pm – 7:00am
Location:Riverview Regional Medical Center, Gadsden, AL
We are seeking aLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN),internally referred to as LPN or LVN, in our Adult Psych Acute unit. As an LPN/LVN in our Psych Unit, you will provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, focusing on tasks like monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with patient care.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

Provide direct and indirect patient care services which requires technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care
-
Meets the communication needs of the patient and family
-
Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
-
Nurses provide CPR, Patient Care, Update Documentation, Specimens, Wound Care and Vital Signs
Qualifications
-
Current and valid Alabama state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
-
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
-
One year experience in an applicable setting, preferred
-
IV certification upon hir, preferred
