Full job description

MyRobin.ID — one of Indonesia's leading on-demand platforms for pre-screened blue-collar workers on a short- and long-term basis — is #hiring an Assistant Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and review daily, weekly, and monthly accounting transactions and journal entries to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

  2. Review and prepare manual journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjustments required for accurate financial reporting.

  3. Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

  4. Monitor accounting processes and internal controls to ensure transactions are properly recorded and financial data is reliable.

  5. Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, HR, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.

  6. Support internal and external reporting, audit processes, and provide financial data and analysis as required.

  7. Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team, including providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

  8. Identify process improvements and ensure accounting procedures are efficient, accurate, and aligned with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  9. Support the Accounting Manager in managing day-to-day accounting operations and other financial initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting, with experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliation, and internal controls.
  • Experience in an outsourcing, manpower, staffing, workforce management, or Workforce-as-a-Service (WaaS) company is highly preferred.*
  • Proven experience in supervising, mentoring, and developing an accounting team.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of accounting standards and applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage tight deadlines.
