APJ Service Provider - Sales Operations Manager

What You'll Do

You will be primarily responsible for sales operations activities working closely with multiple cross functional teams across Sales, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain etc.

You shall be responsible for:

  • Funnel/Forecast process – Establish close interlocks with relevant teams to track health of funnel; Ensure funnel discipline; Highlight risks by monitoring large deals and be integral part of the commit call cadence
  • Business governance & cadence incl QBR, QBO, KPI tracking, Account reviews, Account Planning etc
  • Escalations / Commission Issues – Oversee & close any escalations/ Commission issues by connecting all relevant stakeholders; providing guidance, oversight to team
  • NYR - Govern, Facilitate, Coordinate, Oversee the NYR process across APJC across account transfer, goal-sheet target distribution, SHARE hierarchy, goaling & compensation (incl. KSO, SPIFFs) etc
  • Complete ownership of all Compensation/SPIFF/Incentives/Sales recognition programs
  • Change management - any operational implications because of GTM changes, NYR updates etc
  • Responsible for providing feedback to relevant stakeholders on system improvements (incl. Anaplan, SFDC etc) and consequent adoption of tools across the sales operations community
  • Responsible for identifying “sales operations improvement initiatives”; build actionable plans that can get executed, and directly lead specific initiatives
  • AI-first mindset: Identify automation initiatives and workflow improvement ideas
  • Familiar with data analytics tools + AI tools like Claude, Github, CoPilot etc

Align operations with Cisco's overall strategic priorities, provide feedback to leadership. Become a trusted advisor for the APJ SP Leadership Team; Support APJ SP Leadership in making critical business decisions providing solid fact-based analysis

Who You'll Work With The APJC SPO team is responsible for business intelligence, growth identification, market and sales strategy, planning, field enablement and sales operations, with a scope of $8B in revenues. The team drives initiatives from conception to execution, fostering alignment across theatres, segments and functions, seeking excellence and consistency in management practices with the ultimate goal of accelerating Cisco's growth in APJC.

Who You Are Critical personality attributes include – analytical skills, financial acumen, a hands-on, can-do attitude and a highly collaborative style. Ability to influence, collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams will determine success in the role. The ideal candidate will have a combination of previous sales operational expertise, analytic horsepower, logical reasoning ability and ideally, an understanding of Cisco products and solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in a sales operations, program, project or functional management position.
  • High analytical skills, financial acumen
  • Ability to develop & present strong data driven business proposals
  • Knowledge of Cisco Sales Operations basics: Tools/Systems and Process
  • Ability to interact with multiple cross functional teams; Works effectively with regional and global teams.
  • Excellent program & project management skills
  • Asia-Pacific regional experience desirable.
  • Knows how to have fun.
  • AI-first mindset: Identify automation initiatives and workflow improvement ideas
  • Experience with tools like Power BI. Proficiency in AI tools like Claude etc
