Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers with software application development and software application enhancements
- Support software development with writing, reviewing and debugging code
- Learn new skills and technologies through project work
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve individual, team and company goals, including coordinating and leading meetings, with support from manager
Required Skills & Experience
- Currently enrolled in a related degree program (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related preferred)
- Intermediate programming abilities in object oriented languages such as C#, Java, Python
- Knowledge of SQL databases
- Experience with Git or related version control system
- Ability to work well independently and with coworkers to share knowledge as part of a team
- Experience managing time independently and prioritizing tasks
- Strong problem-solving ability with the desire to take ownership of challenges and follow through to resolution
- Open to feedback and coaching to improve skills
- Professional oral and written communication skills

- Related academic projects or work experience
Duration Must be available ~25 hours/wk and have the ability to work onsite at Itron’s West Union location spring term 2027.
