Job Description

Job Duties: Merit SI Technologies, LLC d.b.a. Merit Controls provides advanced, proven grid integration products and services for utility-scale power generation, all in one platform. Merit SI Technologies, LLC d.b.a. Merit Controls in Somerville, New Jersey is seeking Management Analyst to evaluate organizational processes, analyze operational and financial data, and recommend strategic improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and profitability.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

Operational & Business Analysis:

• Analyze service operations, project workflows, and cross-functional processes to identify inefficiencies, cost drivers, and performance gaps.

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of service delivery models, including Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) and post-project service structures.

• Evaluate organizational performance metrics and develop recommendations to improve operational effectiveness.

Process Improvement & Strategy:

• Develop and recommend process improvements to enhance scalability, reduce costs, and improve service quality.

• Assess current business practices and propose standardized procedures and best practices across departments.

• Support the design and implementation of new operational frameworks and service delivery strategies.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Collect, interpret, and analyze data related to operations, financial performance, and customer service outcomes.

• Develop reports, dashboards, and models to support executive decision-making.

• Identify trends and provide forecasts related to operational and financial performance.

Advisory & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Provide advisory support to leadership on organizational structure, operational strategy, and performance optimization.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams to evaluate business initiatives and recommend improvements.

• Participate in strategic planning efforts by providing analytical insights and recommendations.

Program & Initiative Evaluation:

• Assess the effectiveness of new initiatives, including service offerings, system integrations, and operational changes.

• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments for proposed business initiatives.

• Monitor implementation outcomes and recommend adjustments as needed.

This position does not supervise other personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Economics or any related field of study, plus at least two (2) years of experience in the job offered or any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:

1. Experience in business analysis, management consulting, operations analysis

2. Experience evaluating business processes and developing strategic recommendations

3. Technical competent in the following Software: Netsuite, Jira, and Microsoft Office.

4. Experience with service contracts, review and negotiation with owners on some of the deliverables.

5. Experience with creating proposals, processing purchase orders and invoicing orders.

6. Project handoff execution, taking project from the execution teams, reviewing the data and handing off to the service team.

No travel. Work from home is offered for this position.
