Job Description Front of House Snack Bar, Rental, Pro Shop, Skate Guard + Job Summary Responsible for Front of House including working in snack bar, rental or pro shop as assigned, and general custodial duties Reports to the Manager in Charge (MIC), or Lead Operations Manager, Assistant General Manager or General Manger as task dictates + Essential Job Functions Being stationed in assigned area for customer service and not on personal phone or have personal items out for patrons to see Snack Bar duties include but are not limited to reheating food by direction, re-stocking, cleaning, and alerting MIC of area needs, completing checklist at end of shift Rental duties include but are not limited to handing out/taking back rental skates, sanitizing returned skates and helmets, putting skates away, sweeping under shelves, restocking towels and supplies Pro shop duties include but are not limited to answering phones, assisting patrons, answering informational questions, checking in drop in guests, selling admittance tickets and skate aids Skate Guard duties include but are not limited to patrol the ice, monitor ice for safety concerns, enforce ice rules with patrons, provide first aid Back-up for all other Front of House positions as needed Other duties as requested or assigned by General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Lead Operations Manager Cleaning, sweeping, mopping, running floor scrubber, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning restrooms are functions of all Front of House positions Ability to handle and count money + Education and Experience Must be 16 years old Good communication and customer service skills Have attention to detail and critical thing thinking skills Able to follow direction + Compensation and Benefi ts Position is part-time, 10-15 hours a week No benefi ts are available for this position + Working Conditions Hours of work Part-time, 10-15 hours a week fl exible and variable. Evening and weekend hours. Overtime expectations As needed Work environment Ice arena, ice plant areas. Temperatures are in 30s and 40s most times.
