JOB REQUIREMENTS: Sidewalk snow removal crew member A+ Lawn Care is hiring snow removal crew members for the 2026-27 winter. Snow removal is the largest part of our business, and our crews keep sidewalks, walkways, entries and stairs clear for commercial properties around DeForest, Windsor and Sun Prairie. The pay is $25-30 per hour. You are on call during the season. Most shifts start overnight or early in the morning, and some fall on weekends and holidays. The job is based in DeForest and the season runs from November through March, with pay day every other Friday. Sidewalk snow removal crew members who finish the season receive an end of season completion bonus. You will clear sidewalks, walkways, entries and stairs with shovels and snow blowers, spread salt on walks and entries when conditions call for it, and help with cleanup visits after storms. Our sidewalk crews have a sidewalk machine that does the bulk of the snow removal and based on your experience you may be eligible to operate it or be a sidewalk crew member helping clear snow. The work is outdoors in winter weather for the length of a storm, which can be longer shifts and it includes lifting and carrying up to 50-pound buckets of salt. You will need reliable transportation and a phone that takes calls and texts at night. A+ Lawn Care is a family-owned company that serves the DeForest area and prides itself on service. Year-round work is available for lawncare, landscaping, hardscape and tree crews from spring through fall. Some positions may be eligible to start before the upcoming snow season.
