Job Description
Unleash your expertise in product development and optimization by leveraging user research, analyzing metrics, and collaborating across one of the world’s most innovative financial organizations.
As a Senior Product Associate in Kinexys, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
You are a builder and owner: you move with urgency, thrive in ambiguity, and use process and controls as enablers, not obstacles, to deliver client outcomes. You will act as the voice of the customer by translating client needs (in partnership with Sales and coverage teams) into clear product direction, and you will work closely with Technology, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Controls to deliver scalable, resilient, and stable products.
Job responsibilities
-
Own the development and delivery of Kinexys product initiatives, primarily in FX and cross-border payments, while partnering across the broader product suite as needed.
-
Help develop product strategy and shape a product vision that delivers clear value to customers.
-
Lead product discovery in tight partnership with Sales and client coverage—turning client feedback and pipeline signals into clear problem statements, prioritization, and shipped solutions.
-
Translate problems into execution-ready requirements (user journeys, workflows, edge cases, acceptance criteria) and drive crisp decisions on scope, sequencing, and trade-offs.
-
Work with Technology partners to design, build, test, and launch new features and products, aligning on how the system should work, how it will be operated, and what the acceptance criteria will be.
-
Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience. Drive delivery end-to-end: manage dependencies across functions, remove blockers, and maintain momentum from concept through launch.
-
Drive alignment across Technology, Operations, Sales, Legal, Risk, and Controls to deliver product initiatives that are commercially viable and operationally sound.
-
Own the post-launch feedback loop: monitor outcomes, capture partner feedback, and iterate to improve reliability, usability, and adoption
-
Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
-
Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
-
Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
-
3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
-
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
-
Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
-
Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to align stakeholders and drive decisions
-
Comfortable engaging with technical concepts: able to specify how a system should work (workflows, states, interfaces at a conceptual level), and to learn the underlying technology quickly (not required to code).
-
Experience or demonstrated interest in the following areas; Payments (Cross-border), Foreign Exchange, Blockchain / distributed ledger technologies, Cloud technologies
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
-
Builder mindset: you take problems end-to-end, move from idea to shipped delivery, and don’t wait for perfect clarity to make progress.
-
Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance, owning and delivering outcomes.
-
Strategic thinker able to prioritize, make trade-offs, and focus teams on high-impact work
-
Portfolios showing personal projects that you have built are encouraged
-
Proven track record of building and launching products or meaningful features in production (especially in payments, platforms, or regulated environments).
