Job: You will build the models behind Parallel’s biggest decisions. Working closely with our strategic finance lead, you’ll own key parts of the company model, headcount plan, and scenario analysis, and you’ll produce the analysis behind our board materials. You’ll get into pricing, unit economics, compute costs, and metrics, often in the same week, and turn what you find into clear recommendations. You’ll pull data from wherever it lives, clean it up, and build the reporting that leadership checks before deciding on hiring, pricing, and spend. You’ll work across finance, GTM, and engineering, and your scope will grow as fast as you earn it. You: You’ve spent a few years in a high-rigor seat like banking, consulting, PE, or strategic finance at a high-growth company. You’ve built models from first principles, not templates, and you can defend every assumption when someone pushes. You’d rather pull the raw data yourself than wait for someone to hand it over. You’ve taken a messy analysis and turned it into a one-page answer that people outside finance could act on. You use AI tools to do real work faster. You take ownership without being asked, flag problems early, and want to run strategic finance yourself one day.
