The DeKalb County School District is seeking an experienced and professional Technician I, Instructional Materials.

Title: Technician I, Instructional Materials
Performs routine tasks to assist in the management of educational resources, providing executive support through financial and clerical tasks to ensure organizational efficiency. Performs duties with moderate supervision as an intermediate-level individual contributor.
Essential Job Duties
- Processes and fills orders for educational resource materials and other items, ensuring orders are complete and accurate before shipment.
- Receives, inspects, and stores incoming materials while verifying accuracy and condition to maintain quality standards.
- Manages inventory levels by conducting regular reviews and reordering supplies as necessary to prevent stock shortages.
- Creates and maintains documents or spreadsheets for effective vendor communication and tracking of transactions.
- Handles curriculum licensing agreements with attention to detail, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Processes payments accurately, employing routine or semi-routine methods but adapting procedures when necessary.
- Maintains office equipment by managing repairs or replacements to ensure operational efficiency.
- Reviews and updates standard operating procedures (SOPs) along with documentation to reflect current practices.
- Coordinates assigned project tasks effectively to meet objectives.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma with at least three (3) years of related experience required.
- Associate's degree in Education Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field with at least one (1 year of related experience preferred.
